Please Tell Me What Trikaya IS
Okay, I’ll do that.
I got a sweet email today from a very wise friend of a friend who needed more answers about what Trikaya is, and what we’re up to here in building this community.
I think it’s appropriate to share the question and the response with you, because some of you might be wonderin’ the same thing. It’s my pleasure to clarify. Read on…

Dear Kris and Kraig,
I feel the passion come through in your communication and I apologize for not being able to attend last Saturday. I did listen to quite a bit of the call on Monday evening and it’s not clear to me exactly what it is that you’re creating. Is it possible for the three of us to meet and have a conversation? I met you at Yoga Mala and I’m a friend of Mara’s and Maral’s. Thank you.
Namaste,

Hi Martin.
Kraig is away on a climbing trip and I have events and gatherings to attend here this weekend, but I’m happy you reached out to connect with us. I can understand why you might not be super clear on what Trikaya is and what it has to offer, since we’re still working on getting a home webpage up to answer questions like yours. For now, we are using the blog.
We have two businesses, apart from teaching classes (Kraig teaches marketing to thousands of students online with another company and I teach my yoga classes here locally at Yoga One).
So, needless to say, our schedules are a bit hectic. I’d be happy to chat with you via phone if you still have questions after this, to help clarify some things for you. But if you want to know the nutshell version, here it is (o:
Trikaya is an alternative leadership community. It is a platform through which like-minded, creative individuals who want to make a difference in the world can come together to synergize and amplify their potential.
At our monthly events, we watch movies, practice yoga, and engage in self-assessments and group exercises that will help us take our lives to the next level. Everyone in the “tribe” is working on their own projects and goals– be they financial improvements, philanthropic work, conscious business endeavors, or just improved health and relationships. The community, the TRIBE, is just there to offer support, encouragement, creativity, and motivation to help each member stay true to their path and manifest their life’s vision with more ease and grace. It is always a safe space to discover, explore and unleash new levels of clarity and empowerment.
The films and self-assessments are informative, educational, and oftentimes very profound or provocative. They catalyze paradigm shifts and the making of big decisions to launch you forward in living your best life. The curriculum we teach will oftentimes be a solid dose of “wake you up and shake you up”…just the thing you need to turn your passions and GOOD INTENTIONS into focused action that creates extraordinary results.
The call you heard on Monday was an overview of another segment of Trikaya – the “Tribepod MasterMind” program – that we are “beta testing” this month. It takes what we do at the events and applies it on a more intimate and practical “rubber meets road” level. People come together in groups of 3 to have weekly phone conversations where they talk about their visions, turn them into action plans, and support and motivate one another to achieve them in the most efficient and harmonious way possible. There is nothing like a public declaration to put a fire beneath a person—to put their best resources on their best opportunities and get on with offering their greatest contribution to the world!
In the future we may also be adding a web community forum (web 2.0) to support the “Tribepod MasterMind” program. We also have plans to spread these monthly events to cities across the US, so that they happen simultaneously on the second Saturday of each month… And slowly, in this way, we’ll build a more global Trikaya Tribe. The vision expands even further beyond that with group projects, philanthropic missions, Tribe retreats (”Voluntourism”) and huge reunions, but I’ll share that with you some other day in the future.
Please join us at the next event, second Saturday in June, and bring all like minded friends with you…whether they currently practice yoga or not. The flow we do is designed for all levels.
You will love the experience and gain so much out of playing an active role in this community. What you put into it is exactly what you get out of it. Every event and every interaction is an investment in yourself.
And if you don’t mind, I’ll post this response to the blog so that others can also benefit from the answer to your fabulous question.
Sending lots of love. Looking forward to connecting with you soon.
Namaste,
Kris
