There are Nine Gates of the Body, through which everything enters from food and air to diseases and sense information. When we close these Nine Gates through Yoga practice, a Tenth Gate opens and we perceive the world in a very different way.
Join us for this workshop where we will explore the practice of Pratyahara, so often neglected in modern Yoga, yet vital for evolving beyond a certain point. We will investigate a variety of Yoga techniques that will close off these Gates, heightening your inner sense experience. Then we will see how our inner landscape changes as a result of our practices, and what might happen when the Tenth Gate opens.
This workshop is suitable for Yoga practitioners who are hoping to deepen their Yoga practice towards meditation. Venue size is limited to 6 places, so please click the button below to book your place and avoid disappointment. Please note that your place is only confirmed once full payment is made.
This workshop counts as 3 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for Yoga Australia teachers.
